    My first time making buttercream and it was grainy. I used a hand mixer. It was good but it taste like it wasn’t well blended or I used to much sugar. Can you please tell me what I need to do different.



    I am not sure why but a more experienced Baker may have the answer to your question. I just made BBB buttercream icing and my last attempt was better than the first. Make sure your butter is soft room temperature,and I mixed in my electric mixer with whisk for 8 minutes, lovely and light in colour and texture. Another thing sift your icing sugar ( powdered sugar)
