hey Gemma i know your list of recipes is long but can you do another milkshake video and can one be glueten free so my friend can try one(p.s she doesnt like reagular milk she only likes coconut milk)thx

    • Gemma Stafford on July 1, 2016 at 3:31 pm

      Hi Rachael,
Thank you for being in touch,
I am happy to hear that you are going to try out my recipes. You can of course leave out the raisins from the Carrot Cake Pancake recipe.
I will be adding to the milkshake videos as time goes on, and will be taking account of people who prefer to, or need to use a non dairy milk.
It would be lovely of you to make rainbow popsicles for your little sister, I am sure she will be happy, well done,
      Gemma 🙂

    • Gemma Stafford on June 29, 2016 at 3:27 pm

Like it’s written in the recipe, you can use whole or low-fat milk.

      Hi Noor,

thank you for your lovely message. I LOVE the chocolate Milkshakes. I often have it after a work out.

Strawberry cheesecake and Oreo are an absolute must.

Good luck and happy Baking 🙂

      • Noor-ul-Ain on July 27, 2016 at 11:41 pm

        Hi Gemma,

Can you please advise me the alternative for whipping cream for ice cream milk shake’s topping. I prefer to make it at home, so can i use a simple cream (available in markets in Pakistan) and whisk it….? Will it give a same effect as of whipping cream..??

I appreciate your work…it’s really incredible… best wishes and prayers..

I am looking forward to hearing from you at your convenience.

        Regards

        Noor

        • Gemma Stafford on July 28, 2016 at 3:02 am

          Hi Noor,
there is not an alternative for fresh dairy cream in this recipe.
          Fresh cream:
This is cream, which is a natural part of cows’ milk. It is a fresh product, the full fat version of which is known as Double cream and is 49.4% fat content. This is the one which will whip up really quickly and hold its’ shape. It must be kept cold, it will spoil in a day or so if stored at room temperature. There is no substitute which will work in my ice cream recipe.
In some countries which do not have a dairy industry, and these are generally warmer countries, this product is very hard to come by. Manufactured alternatives, whilst they may be good for some desserts, will not do for this. I am sorry!
          Gemma 🙂

  4. AlysonZ on June 24, 2016 at 2:28 pm

    Hi Gemma!
I love your recipes! I was wondering how I would make a strawberry milkshake…. Do you just not add the cream cheese?

    • Gemma Stafford on June 24, 2016 at 6:01 pm

That’s right, you can leave out the cream cheese to have just strawberry 🙂

Hi Gemma! I want to make the strawberry cheesecake milkshake… But can I use frozen strawberries instead of fresh?
    Thanks in advance.

    • Gemma Stafford on June 14, 2016 at 3:54 pm

      Hi Caroline,
Thank you for the lovely comment about the mugnut, I am happy you liked this recipe.
Yes, frozen soft fruits are brilliant for smoothies and milkshakes, and are usually better value too, so yes, it will be good,
      Gemma 🙂

  11. amit zaba on April 28, 2016 at 12:34 pm

    hey Gemma!
i was wondering, if i have any left over milkshake, is saving it for later an option? if so, whats the best way to do it? 🙂

    • Gemma Stafford on April 28, 2016 at 3:31 pm

These recipes are best when consumed as soon as you have made them. Freezing the left overs or putting them in the fridge will change the texture. Hope this helps 🙂

Hi Gemma i am here again.I love all your milkshake recipe and I tried it,taste not bad.But sadly the high-speed blenders in China is not really good because it is always full of bubbles and it takes long time to take them out.Even that I would still try to use your recipe to make better food to let people enjoy. It is a pity that we cannot see Youtube videos in China but it cannot stop people from loving your recipe.By the way do you have a recipe for a small birthday party Gemma?Looking forward to you reply.
