Hi Bold Bakers!

I love Starbucks Frappuccinos and it dawned on me, who doesn’t love frappes?? And who wouldn’t love to know how to make them at home?? That’s why we are going to make our own Big and Bold versions but without the sugary pumps of syrup.

Like a lot of people, Starbucks is part of my everyday routine. In the morning I go for a tall Flat White to wake me up. And then on birthdays and special occasions I get a Frappuccino. The reason I reserve them for these times is because they can tend to be heavy on the caloric side. Now I’m sure you know me well enough by now to know I’m not a calorie counter. But after a few regular visits to Starbucks those calories start to add up.

In my opinion, my Frappuccinos taste just like the real thing but without the pumps of syrups containing artificial flavors. We are going all natural here so we can enjoy more and pay for it less. Our waist lines that is, not to mention our wallets.  

Like a lot of my recipes these are customizable to suit you. If you don’t like strawberries, use raspberries. If you don’t eat dairy use dairy-free milks like almond or soy. There really aren’t any strict rules you have to follow when it comes to these drinks. And on that note, come up with your own flavors, nothing is written in stone, get creative.

I would like to know how to make the Starbucks pink drink at home completly from scratch not using the store bought refreshers and drinks.

I like my coffee really really strong. I take left over coffee and freeze into ice cubes for my fraps. That way they aren’t diluted by regular ice and if I just want iced coffee, I also use the coffee ice cubes for the same reason. Makes all the difference in he world, if you like strong coffee!!

Hi Gemma,

I wish to make matcha Green Tea Frappuccino with your receipes. But Japanese matcha is very expensive; according to your Green Tea Frappuccino recipes, I have put 1.5 tbsp into the blended drink which cost me over USD 10 only in matcha green tea powder. Then this drink receipes costs over USD 12. However, Starbuck Green Tea Frappuccino cost me USD 5.5 which your drink receipes ‘s C/P value is not good. Thank you for your receipes. 😉
