Hi Bold Bakers!

Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino is my go-to Frapp. You get the boost from the coffee and at the same time satisfy your sugar craving with the chocolate. Like a lot of people Starbucks is part of my everyday routine. In the morning I go for a tall Flat White to wake me up and then on birthdays and special occasions I get a Frappuccino. The reason I reserve them for these times is because they can tend to be heavy on the caloric side. Now I’m sure you know me well enough by now to know I’m not a calorie counter, but after a few regular visits to Starbucks those calories start to add up.

So, what is the obvious solution for us Bold Bakers? We make our own from scratch that’s what! In my opinion, my Frappuccinos taste just like the real thing but without the pumps of syrups and artificial flavors. We are going all natural here so we can enjoy more and pay for it less. Our waist lines that is, not to mention our wallets.

Fun factoid, Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino is their 3rd most popular Frappuccino flavor AND Frappuccinos actually make up 20% of Starbucks total coffee sales. Crazy, I know. I wonder how much % of those sales are my purchases?

Like a lot of my recipes these are customizable to suit you. If you don’t like strawberries, use raspberries. If you don’t eat dairy use dairy-free milk like almond or soy. There really aren’t any strict rules you have to follow when it comes to these drinks. And on that note, come up with your own flavors, nothing is written in stone, get creative.

Hi! I made this as a larger batch for my three kids. It was very watery and mostly just tasted like milk.

It tastes very good, but i recommend adding only 1 tbsp of sugar as the syrup already makes it very sweet. Also it won’t look as cool, but i recommend blending in the chocolate syrup because it will taste better that way. Overall this is pretty good, also if you use instant coffee like i did just add a tsp to around 3-4 tbsp of water and add that in. Overall this is really good though. here is how i did it 10 ice cubes 1 cup of milk 3-4 tbsp of water and 1 tsp of instant coffee 1… Read more »
