The Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino is my go-to frapp and now you can make it homemade with all-natural ingredients for a frozen treat anytime you want!
Homemade Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino - Want to save your money and your waistline? make homemade Starbucks Frappucinos!!!

Hi Bold Bakers!

Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino is my go-to Frapp. You get the boost from the coffee and at the same time satisfy your sugar craving with the chocolate. Like a lot of people Starbucks is part of my everyday routine. In the morning I go for a tall Flat White to wake me up and then on birthdays and special occasions I get a Frappuccino. The reason I reserve them for these times is because they can tend to be heavy on the caloric side. Now I’m sure you know me well enough by now to know I’m not a calorie counter, but after a few regular visits to Starbucks those calories start to add up.

So, what is the obvious solution for us Bold Bakers? We make our own from scratch that’s what! In my opinion, my Frappuccinos taste just like the real thing but without the pumps of syrups and artificial flavors. We are going all natural here so we can enjoy more and pay for it less. Our waist lines that is, not to mention our wallets.

Fun factoid, Starbucks Mocha Frappuccino is their 3rd most popular Frappuccino flavor AND Frappuccinos actually make up 20% of Starbucks total coffee sales. Crazy, I know. I wonder how much % of those sales are my purchases?

Like a lot of my recipes these are customizable to suit you. If you don’t like strawberries, use raspberries. If you don’t eat dairy use dairy-free milk like almond or soy. There really aren’t any strict rules you have to follow when it comes to these drinks. And on that note, come up with your own flavors, nothing is written in stone, get creative.

Turned out great, you really saved my life with this recipe because the only coffee I like is the Starbucks version of Mocha Frappuccino but the next Starbucks is 30km away and obviously expensive as hell! I’m lactose intolerant so I used vanilla soy milk and I added some cocoa for extra sweetness & chocolate-taste. I also used less vanilla extract since I already had vanilla flavour in my milk. (Didn’t taste too much like vanilla anyway, so that’s great!) My selfmade chocolate sauce didn’t create these nice swirls through the whole drink but I guess that’s my fault and… Read more »

Not bad, but the vanilla overpowered the rest of the flavors. I will either cut it way back from 1 tsp or will omit it from future attempts.

This recipe is incredible! I never had a frappuccino in my life because they were so costly and I tried these and they are so, so good. The perfect balance of chocolate and coffee! Thank you for this wonderful recipe. I really appreciate it! My friends loved it too. Can you post more frappuccino recipes?
Thanks!

I love the strawberry frac, and everything at Starbucks is expensive. I just made your recipe, and do like it. Just want more strawberry taste. I also used chocolate syrup for drizzle. Starbucks strawberry is in a box, perhaps a syrup, Any input with this?

Hi! I made this as a larger batch for my three kids. It was very watery and mostly just tasted like milk.
