Hi Bold Bakers!

Strawberry & Banana always pair so well together, in harmony you might say. This Strawberry Banana Frozen Yogurt is made using just a handful of ingredients. It’s made using all natural sugars that come from fruit and honey. I use frozen strawberries and frozen bananas which makes this frozen yogurt thick and creamy. The strawberry brings its sweetness and that vibrant red color that makes it look so pretty.

Frozen Yogurt is so many things. It’s an after school treat, a late night snack and a dessert that scratches your sweet tooth itch. It’s not limited to only one meal time since it can be enjoyed any time of the day.

No Machine Homemade Frozen Yogurt means not having to worry about not owning an expensive ice cream machine. I like to make recipes that are accessible to everyone as much as I can. I don’t own an ice cream machine and I’m guessing a lot of you don’t either. What I do own is a food processor. My food processor is used for a multitude of recipes in my kitchen and I love it. There’s not much it can’t do so when I tried to make my own version of frozen yogurt in it I knew it was up to the challenge. The results are a smooth and creamy Frozen Yogurt that is second to none.

Delicious! Only change was lime juice instead of lemon (didn’t have any.) I just popped it into the freezer but I licked the bowl.

I just love, love this recipe! I am in Costa Rica where bananas are plentiful and get ripe faster than we can eat them. And this is a great way to use them. I fool around with whatever additional fruit I have. I just did a pineapple, banana, & strawberry (1 cup of each) and adjusted the other ingredients to be appropriate. I use agave since I don’t care for honey and I also added a splash of vanilla! The result is quick, healthy and so delish! Thanks Gemma!

Hi Gemma, can I use this recipe in my ice cream/yogurt machine? Or would I need to make adjustments? Cheers!

While this did taste good, I found it FAR from scoopable, making it nearly impossible to eat. I couldn’t even get a regular spoon in there to eat out of a tub. I had to put it in the fridge overnight to thaw a good way before I could come remotely close to scooping any out. I don’t know what I did, but I’m sad about it.

Hi Gemma, I wanted a quick snack to keep in my fridge for whenever i feel hungry, so I decided to make this. Too bad it didn’t stay in my fridge for too long because it was so tasty that i finished it in 2 minutes 😁

Wow this recipe is amazing! It’s so simple and easy but it tastes incredibly delicious and its as creamy as a frozen yogurt can be. I don’t have a large food processor so I made mine in the blender. It was obvious to me that I need to buy a big food processor before I make my next batch. But I still managed to make it in the blender, I just had to let my fruit soften a bit. Thanks Gemma!

Hi Gemma,
Thank you for the recipe. I tried it and it tasted amazing. Although I liked it the way it is but I was wondering if I can replace honey with condensed milk? Does that count as liquid sugar?
