Cinnamon Roll Mug Cake (made in 3 minutes!)

Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons applesauce*
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 5 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 1 ½ tablespoons brown sugar
  • ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt

  • Cream Cheese Icing
  • 1 tablespoon cream cheese , softened
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon milk
Instructions
  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a microwave safe mug then whisk together with a fork until combined and smooth.
  2. Microwave for 1 minute or until it’s firm to the touch on top. If it is not fully cooked microwave for an additional 15 seconds. (timing is based on my 1200W microwave so your timing might vary)
  3. Cream Cheese Icing: mix all of the ingredients together until smooth.
  4. Serve warm topped with cream cheese icing.
  5. Enjoy immediately!
Recipe Notes

Applesauce: you can replace apple sauce with the sauce amount of mashed banana

Brown sugar: can be replaced with white if needed
