Make Black Forest Gateau Frozen Yogurt in only 5 minutes without an ice cream machine.

  • 2 cups (16oz/280g) frozen cherries
  • 2 tablespoons honey (or agave nectar)
  • ¼ cup (2oz/60g) plain yogurt (greek, non-fat or full fat)
  • ½ tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons roughly chopped chocolate
  1. Add the yogurt, honey (or agave nectar), yogurt lemon juice and ⅔ of the frozen cherries into a food processor (or liquidizer).
  2. Process until creamy and even in color, about 2-3 minutes. Scrape down the side of the bowl to make sure there are no lumps.
  3. Fold in the reserved frozen cherries and roughly chopped chocolate
  4. Transfer it to an airtight freezable container and freeze for a minimum 4 hours but preferably overnight. Store it in the freezer for up to 2 month.
