Making waffles without a waffle maker is not only possible, but makes waffles just as crunchy, light, and delicious as if you had!

Servings: 6
Author: Gemma Stafford
Ingredients
  • 2 cups (10oz/284g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups (12 fl oz/340ml) milk
  • 6 Tbsp butter , melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. Pre-heat your oven to 350°F (180°C) then lightly grease your GoodCook Sweet CreationsWaffle Cake Pan with butter or vegetable oil. Set aside.

  2. In a large bowl add in your dry ingredients: Flour, baking powder, sugar, salt.

  3. In a separate jug, combine the wet ingredients: eggs, milk, melted butter and vanilla extract.

  4. Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not be tempted to overmix. Lumps in the batter are ok, they have a way of working themselves out.

  5. Divide the batter evenly amongst the 6 wells of the GoodCook Sweet Creations Waffle Cake Pan.

  6. Bake for about 15-18 minutes until the waffles are a golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before transferring to a plate and serving. To serve top with berries and maple syrup.

  7. Cover and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

Recipe Notes

REMINDER! This batter does work with a waffle maker too! So try it however you'd like.
