  1. Combine all of the ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment or in a medium bowl with a handheld electric mixer.
  2. Begin whipping on medium speed.
  3. After 1 or 2 minutes, as the mixture begins to thicken, slowly increase the speed to medium-high until soft peaks are reached, about another minute or two.
  4. Use immediately or hold in the refrigerator for up to 8 hours.
