Learn how to make my Homemade Applesauce recipe for a great treat and to make your baked goods moist. Plus, you can use it as an egg substitute for baking.

  • 4 apples* , peeled, cored and chopped
  • ¾ Cup (6oz/170g) water
  • ¼ Cup (2oz/57g) sugar
  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium sauce pan.
  2. Bring to a simmer over medium heat. Cover and reduce heat to low and simmer for twenty minutes.
  3. With an immersion blender, blend applesauce until smooth.
  4. Serve warm or cold. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze it.
