My pumpkin spice latte recipe is a Starbucks copycat you can make at home — quick to assemble, budget-friendly, and packed with fall flavor.

Course: Drinks
Cuisine: American
Servings: 1 Latte
Author: adapted from www.jennyevolution.com
Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree
  • tablespoons granulated sugar
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ cup (4 fl oz/120 ml) brewed coffee
  • ½ cup (4 fl oz/120 ml) whole milk (or any milk of your choice)
Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, add all of your ingredients and stir to combine.

  2. Over medium heat, bring the mixture to a simmer while stirring, about 5 minutes.

  3. Take the saucepan off the heat and pour into your mug.
  4. Decorate with freshly whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Recipe Notes
  • Use Fresh Real Pumpkin Puree: Canned is convenient, but fresh pumpkin adds a brighter, more natural flavor.
  • Warm Milk Slowly: Gently heat the milk to avoid scorching and create a silky texture.
  • Customize Your Spice: Adjust pumpkin pie spice to taste, or add a pinch of ginger for extra warmth.
  • Add Vanilla for Depth: Stir in ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract when heating to enhance the flavor.
  • Make Ahead for Crowds: Multiply the recipe and keep it warm in a crock pot so guests can serve themselves.
  • Perfect Whipped Cream: Lightly sweeten your whipped cream with a pinch of sugar or pumpkin spice for an extra fall touch.
  • Easy Cleanup: Line your saucepan with a little butter before heating to make cleanup a breeze.
  • Oiled Spoon for Drizzle: Use a lightly oiled spoon to drizzle syrup or milk foam—prevents sticking.
