Hi Bold Bakers!
I am so excited to share with you the first recipe of my 3-course Mother’s Day Brunch! To start off this gorgeous spread, I created a recipe for a lovely and simple Blueberry Muffin Smoothie! What I love about his recipe is how perfectly balanced the flavors are and the thick texture.
Mother’s Day is all about luxury, and this smoothie is noting short of luxurious, so make sure you take the time to make something special for your Mum. Setting the table and dressing it with flowers and pretty plates will bring the theme and all the recipes together. It’s this attention to detail that your mum will really appreciate. The 3-course brunch feast you make will have you in her good books for a long time to come!
It starts off with a few classic smoothie ingredients: milk (dairy free or regular), yogurt, sweet frozen bananas & frozen blueberries. Then, with the addition of raw oats and lemon zest, this smoothie really does taste just like all the best parts of a blueberry muffin!
I think this smoothie fits in great as the first part to my Mother’s Day extravaganza. It’s just enough to whet your appetite without filling you up. I love the idea of starting off the meal with something cool and refreshing, then moving onto my lovely Breakfast Parfait, followed by the main event my Savory Bacon and Cheese Strata.
This brunch is fit for a queen and will have your family hailing your rockstar skills in the kitchen. They don’t need to know that with a little planning, the whole meal was simple to bring together!
Again, make sure to check out the other two courses of my Mother’s Day Brunch and get more Bold Baking Breakfast recipes.

This brunch was a big success. My wife loved all of it. Once again, you make me look like a genius in the kitchen. Happy Mothers Day to all.
Just HAD to come and get the recipe for this delectable sounding smoothie, after seeing you prepare it on the video for the Bacon and Egg Strata! Your blender intrigues me! ???? May I ask what kind it is? And, as it’s “fitted” into a housing, is there a way to, for example, stream oil in when making dressings, or vent it when pureeing hot ingredients? I know. Curiosity killed the cat! Sorry to be a pain in the patootie! Thanks for kindly taking the time to reply to my questions, even if they are off topic! Blessings to all!… Read more »
