Hello, I baked chocolate brownie cake for my kid’s birthday. Since I m new at frosting I took your tips to do a vanilla cream frosting. Covered with chocolate pieces. Any suggestions for a healthy frosting apart from butter cream? Thanks.

      Hi Binu,
Frosting tends to be rich, and sweet, it is the nature of it.
For a light sponge cake, and if you use egg, you could make a meringue type frosting. (
A simple water icing, that is just powdered sugar and water, or fruit juice, may suit you too, but it depends on your need.
If I knew the type of cake I could help more, take a look at the fudge frosting here on the website too. The search bar will help,
      Gemma 🙂

Thanks Gemma, I watched the video on fudge frosting. Planning to try it on my next cake. Looked yummy!
Will check out the meringue type frosting too.. 🙂

          Hi Binu,
Yes, it is a really good one to get to know, it works well with coffee too if that is a taste for you!
