Hi Bold Bakers!
Peach Melba is traditionally Peaches and Raspberry Sauce with vanilla ice cream. This dessert is straight out of the 80’s. The dessert was originally invented by a French Chef to honor the Australia opera star, Nellie Melba. As a frozen yogurt all the flavors work well together, and of course the color is undeniably beautiful.
My Frozen Yogurts are made using just a hand full of ingredients and best of all no ice cream machine. No Machine Frozen Yogurt means not having to worry about not owning an ice cream machine. I like to make recipes that are accessible to everyone as much as I can.
No Machine Homemade Frozen Yogurt means not having to worry about not owning an expensive ice cream machine. I like to make recipes that are accessible to everyone as much as I can. I don’t own an ice cream machine and I’m guessing a lot of you don’t either. What I do own is a food processor. My food processor is used for a multitude of recipes in my kitchen and I love it. There’s not much it can’t do so when I tried to make my own version of frozen yogurt in it I knew it was up to the challenge. The results are a smooth and creamy Frozen Yogurt that is second to none.

Gemma’s Pro Chef Tips
- You can use regular or Greek yogurt for this recipe.
- Although you can use low or non-fat yogurt, for the creamiest results, full fat yogurt is best.
- You can use fresh fruit if you don’t have frozen but we only suggest this if you are making this in the summer with peak season fruit. Otherwise, frozen fruit will give you the best taste over off-season fruit.
- While you are waiting for your frozen yogurt to freeze, make some quick homemade Ice Cream Cones!

Hi Gemma ! This recipe looks lush ! The only question I have is about the yogurt quantity ? You’ve stated to use 1 cup /8oz (225grams) of yogurt but then said 140g which is around half of this ? Just wondering which quantity to use ! Thankyou !

Hi Gemma !! Quick question!! Can I replace raspberries with cherries !! Will that go well with peaches too ?
Hi, Gemma! Short question: I tried out your recipes (and used greek yogurt, just as recommended), but my batches were all frozen solid and not even half as creamy as yours and a little more liquid after processing. 🙁 I use a normal freezer and a plastic container with lid for storage. I do not own a food-processor, but a good grinder which I also use for smoothies. Maybe you can help with a few tips to make my frozen yogurt not only delicious but divine?
is there any fruit I could replace the raspberries with? could I replace them with strawberries?
OOPS! I wrote a review for the raspberry portion of this frozen yogurt, and thought that when I added a photo that both the review and photo would be sent together, but my review vanished and I only got a notice that the photo was sent, so I don’t know if my review was automatically deleted??
Thanks for another delicious recipe! ???? ???? I was going to stick to this recipe as closely as possible with what was on hand, and began thawing the raspberries – but realized my fresh peaches were beginning to wrinkle and needed to be used up ASAP. So I only followed the 2nd half (the peach half) of the recipe but doubled the ingredients. The yogurt I used was Cabot’s “Triple Cream Vanilla Bean” which is currently my favorite – lush & creamy with a mild vanilla flavor and not overly sweet – so I used slightly less honey. The flavor,… Read more »
Hi Gemma! I used Greek Yogurt and frozen fruit and followed your recipe but my Frozen Yogurt came out more like a milkshake – way too thin! Do you have an idea what could have gone wrong?
Why the lemon juice
