Hi Bold Bakers!
When it comes to Starbucks specialty drinks we all have our favorites. Some love the classic flavors like Strawberries and Cream Fappuccino or maybe a Peppermint Mocha during the Holiday season but did you know there is a whole secret menu that Starbucks has that only some people know about? That’s right, they have been holding out on us.
As you all know, given the opportunity I always go for something Big and Bold and let me tell you, it doesn’t get much Bolder than these flavors. Drinks like a Banana Spilt Frappuccino or even an Oreo Frappuccino were just a few that they have cleverly created. But the one that really caught my eye was their Birthday Cake Frappuccino.
I love the idea of taking a popular dessert and reworking it into a decadent Frappuccino. When creating these new secret flavors, I just knew I had to recreate their Birthday Cake Frappuccino for you.
This flavor has been reinvented and made into all kinds of baked goods and frozen deserts but I have yet to see anything like a Birthday Cake Frappuccino! You’re probably thinking, “How does this Frappuccino get its sweet funfetti flavor?” Is there actually cake in this drink or maybe even frosting? Well it’s as simple as adding one secret ingredient to my classic Frappuccino base and instantly this creamy treat tastes just like your favorite cake. All it takes is a few teaspoons of almond extract in addition to traditional vanilla extract. This combinations adds a depth of flavor and really does taste just like the real thing without any of the baking. With the addition of rainbow sprinkles and whipped cream, you really can have your cake and a Frappuccino and eat it too!

Real good not the exact same but delicious
Hi, I ordered one of these today just ti try it and the recipe that you have come up with isn’t right. It’s good don’t get me wrong but you have the flavoring wrong. I quit smoking over 4 years again this month and I did it by vaping! E-liquid is expensive so soon after I stated making my own liquid, since I was good in the kitchen, I thought why not. All of the flavorings used are food grade and I have a ton of different ones. The second I treated the Starbucks Birthday Frappe I knew what was… Read more »
