I love the 4th of July! It’s the perfect time to have a barbeque and watch fireworks with friends and family. Also, it’s a great time to make lots of delicious desserts. Even if you’re not American, these treats can be made for any occasion. While I have so many recipes on my website that are perfect for the 4th of July, here are 12 of my favorites.
Let me know in the comments below how you’re going to be celebrating this year!
Want a super-easy yet absolutely delicious frozen dessert for the 4th of July? My 2-Ingredient Ice Cream is perfect. It doesn’t require an ice cream machine so anyone can make it. I have so many delicious flavors on my website so you’re sure to find a flavor that you would love on the 4th of July.
Last-minute barbeque? I’ve got you covered with my 1-Hour Hamburger Buns. Yes, you heard that right. These hamburger buns take only one hour to make from mixing the ingredients to emerging from the oven. Also, they taste so much better than the flavorless, grocery store variety. Really there’s no excuse for not making these this 4th of July.
If you’re already making my homemade 1-Hour Hamburger Bun recipe, you may as well sweeten the deal with my Brioche Hot Dog Buns. These are so fluffy and buttery, the opposite of the one’s that you get at the grocery store. There is no better vessel to serve your hot dogs in at your 4th of July cookout.
My Tres Leches Cake With Fresh Berries, inspired by Porto’s Bakery’s Milk’n Berries Cake, is a delicious sponge cake that is soaked in a sweet, milky syrup and stuffed with whipped cream and fresh berries. It’s sweet, creamy, very refreshing, and is the perfect red, white, and blue dessert for the 4th of July.
If you’re familiar with my website, you may know that I love coconut. It’s the star in so many of my favorite recipes, but this 15-Minute Coconut Cream Pie takes the cake as my favorite. A flavorful graham cracker crust filled with creamy and rich coconut custard topped with whipped cream… what could be better?
My 10-Minute Berry Tiramisu is a fresh take on the classic tiramisu… no pun intended. With ladyfingers dipped in a berry-infused syrup, a sweet and light mascarpone mousse, fresh fruit, and an optional boozy twist, this is the perfect fancy red, white, and blue dessert that everyone will enjoy this 4th of July.
What’s more American than blueberry pie? Nothing in my opinion. I had never had blueberry pie before coming to the states and now I know why so many Americans love it. It’s so good, especially on the 4th of July, and my recipe is the only Blueberry Pie recipe you’ll ever need.
Want a healthier 4th of July treat? These All Natural Fruit Popsicles should do the trick. With flavors such as watermelon (pictured above), peaches and cream, raspberry coconut, and more, these popsicles taste just as good as they look and are sure to cool you down this 4th of July.
Lemon Bars are a great, refreshing summer treat. My recipe is super easy with the whole recipe being prepared in one bowl by hand, no mixer required. They are rich, tangy, and absolutely delicious… everything you could ever want in a lemon bar.
Are you someone that loves CHEWY brownies? These are the Chewiest Brownies Ever! The recipe is very similar to my Best-Ever Brownies but you beat the wet ingredients with a mixer until it’s super thick. This creates such a difference and is guaranteed to satisfy the cravings of any chewy brownie lover like myself.
This Strawberry Pie tastes like summer. From the sweet, in-season strawberries with a hint of apple for flavor, to the buttery homemade pie crust, this is the perfect pie for the 4th of July. Also, the no-weave lattice on top looks just as impressive as a traditional lattice but is much easier and less time-consuming.
No oven? No problem because now you can make a whole 3-layer chocolate cake entirely in a microwave. My Microwave Chocolate Cake tastes just as good as if it were made in an oven, is incredibly easy to make, and can be baked in the microwave in under 10 minutes! It’s the perfect last-minute dessert for the 4th of July, but your guests will never know that.
