Hi Bold Bakers!
Thanks to all of you, my mug recipes have become a massive hit! I love hearing from all of you, nothing makes me happier than knowing you all try and share my unique recipes.
Just like you I have a super busy life. While sitting down for a real meal is so important to me, sometimes I just don’t have the time, energy, or patience. That’s why I started creating mug meals. After making countless mug cakes, I started experimenting with more ingredients and savory flavors. This allowed me to whip up classic comfort foods — like mac and cheese and brownies — in a microwavable mug. Now that it’s almost time to go back to school, I wanted to share some after school snacks during this busy time, starting with my Top 5 Mug Recipes!

As a kid in Ireland I always looked forward to an after school snack. What can I say? Food has always been on my mind. I’m sure all you busy mums and dads out there want to make delicious and satisfying after school snacks for your kids, but you don’t have much time to fuss about in the kitchen. That’s why you’ll absolutely love these mug recipes.
All of them are just a few ingredients, mixed up in 1 single serve mug, made in literally minutes in the microwave!
After School Snacks #1: Microwave Mug Pizza
What? Pizza made in a microwave? Oh Yeah — and it’s INCREDIBLE!!!!
This Microwave Mug Pizza is a serious game changer when it comes to your meals, and maybe life (just sayin’). Microwave Mug Pizza is a real meal made using good quality ingredients. It’s what I like to call REAL fast food. It’s good food that fuels you and keeps you going.
After School Snacks #2: 1 Minute Microwave Mug Brownie
Everyone loves a Chocolate Brownie!
Whether you are a chewy brownie lover or a fudgy gooey brownie lover, at the end of the day we all love the same cake. The fact that you can mix it in less than 5 minutes and cook it in 1 minute seems too good to be true, but it’s not!
Check out my 1 Minute Microwave Mug Brownie.
After School Snacks #3: Microwave Macaroni and Cheese in a Mug
Microwave Macaroni and Cheese in a Mug can be mixed and cooked all in a mug. Many people are amazed that you can cook pasta quickly and easily in the microwave. If you are, then you might be blown away that you can add in 3 other ingredients to make the delicious cheesy sauce.
After School Snacks #4: Microwave Burrito in a Mug (The Mugrito)
My Microwave Burrito in a Mug is equally as good as one from a taqueria, except it will be cheaper and you are in control of what ingredients went in.
After School Snacks #5: Microwave Jelly Donut in a Mug
Move over Cronut, step aside Duffin, there’s a new nut in town: a Mugnut to be exact, or a Microwave Jelly Donut in a mug.
We are stepping up our Mug game and taking on the traditional donut at the same time. This is a donut that can be mixed up in less than five minutes, cooked in one minute with no need for a fryer, and it tastes like a donut!!!! What is not to love about that?
