I made basic vanilla cake. It came out well. But it did not get flat surface. It’s shape was like mountain. Why so? And it got thin crisp layer like biscuit on the top of cake but cake was spongy from inside. I am attaching link of images here so that you can see and tell me where I went wrong. Thank you 🙂
I love it when this happens! I call it the bakers entitlement piece 🙂
I cut it off to make the top of the cake even, then get to eat that part! Yum.
As long as the rest of the cake was ok and everyone liked it then it shouldn’t be too much of an issue.
