Hi Bold Bakers!

IN THIS ARTICLE: You’re going to get 12 of my absolute favorite and best ice cream recipes using my 2-ingredient no-machine base recipe! That means each one of these recipes doesn’t need to churn, making them as easy as they can be!

It’s July, which is the hottest month of the year! What better way to cool yourself off than with ice cream – but not with just any regular ice cream. It’s No-Machine Ice Cream! The name is pretty self-explanatory. Save yourself the trouble of buying expensive ice cream machines and stick to simple kitchen tools and ingredients.

On top of the convenience of making my ice cream recipes without the hassle of a machine, most of my top recipes are made using my Crazy Homemade Ice Cream Base. This magical base is made up of two simple ingredients: Heavy whipping cream and Sweetened Condensed Milk. If you’re interested in the science behind No-Machine Ice Cream, check out my article ‘The Magic Of No-Churn Ice Cream (And Why It Works)’. It really doesn’t get easier than this.

Feel free to also spice up your ice cream with my Homemade Chocolate Syrup, Homemade Butterscotch Sauce, and Homemade Raspberry Sauce. You can even go the extra mile by making personalized labels and sticking them on your frozen dessert containers.

Whether you’re looking for a healthier, dairy-free version of No-Machine Ice Cream or a homemade version of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavors, you’re in the right place. Without further ado, here are my 12 Best Ice Cream Recipes (No-Churn, No-Machine) you should definitely try this summer!

Banana & Strawberry Ice Cream For Breakfast (Nice Cream)

Starting with the first meal of the day and the first ice cream on my Top 12 List is Breakfast Ice Cream. You read that right it’s ice cream for breakfast!

Unlike store-bought ice cream, my Banana & Strawberry Ice Cream For Breakfast is packed with all-natural ingredients, including strawberries, bananas, honey, vanilla extract, and a secret ingredient: Avocado! In just one food processor, you can come up with a refreshing and healthy dairy-free breakfast alternative perfect for kids and adults alike. Give this recipe a try!

Ice Cream In A Jar

You can make ice cream in a jar? Yes!

Though it sounds strange, this recipe is very convenient and a great arm workout. Not only does Ice Cream in a Jar not require an ice cream machine, but it also doesn’t require an electric or hand mixer. All you have to do is roll up your sleeves and grab a jar. Add in your Crazy Homemade Ice Cream Base with flavorings, and poof! You’ve got yourself some easy, delicious ice cream. In this recipe, I made Vanilla Ice Cream, Strawberry Ice Cream, and Chocolate Ice Cream, but experiment with different flavors to your liking.

Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream

A dish of ice cream with strawberries

Probably one of my favorite recipes on this list, my Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream is to die for. The best part about this recipe is that there are two ways to go about it. The first is to incorporate two cups of my rich Best-Ever New York Cheesecake, which balances really well with the fresh, sweet strawberry puree. Or, you can easily crush up some digestive biscuits or graham crackers for a similar effect.

Either way, you’re in for a creamy and utterly impressive dessert that combines the best of both cheesecake and ice cream worlds.

Honeycomb Ice Cream

When you think of ice cream, the first thing you think of might not be Honeycomb Ice Cream. But trust me, it’s phenomenal. Taking a creative approach to ice cream flavors, I created this recipe for those of you who enjoy sweet toffee caramel flavors.

By combining my Crazy Homemade Ice Cream Base alongside my Homemade Honeycomb recipe, this No-Machine Ice Cream results in a dessert gorgeous enough to be served in a fancy restaurant. It’s also got a great crunchy texture from the bits of Honeycomb incorporated throughout the smooth ice cream base.

Rainbow Cake Ice Cream

Looking to make an eye-catching dessert this summer? Look no further than my Rainbow Cake Ice Cream recipe! It’s got all the things you would want in a delicious and colorful dessert, including my amazing Homemade Rainbow Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting and Crazy Homemade Ice Cream Base.

With its vibrant colors and amazing Rainbow Cake flavors, this recipe is made for summer parties. Best of all, you can enjoy cake and frosting all in one ice cream.

Soft Serve Ice Cream

If you want to try some bold baking, my Homemade Soft Serve Ice Cream recipe should do the trick. Not only does this recipe give you a creamy and smooth Soft Serve Ice Cream, but you also get to try out a science experiment with dry ice! In small portions, dry ice is edible and freezes your ice cream instantly unlike other ice cream recipes.

I’ll admit, it’s not the most conventional method of making ice cream. But, it’s a crazy new way to make this swirly deliciousness at home, and I’m all for it! Pair it with my Homemade Ice Cream Cones and you’ve got yourself your own Soft Serve Ice Cream shop right in your kitchen.

Blueberry Cheesecake Gelato

Easiest Homemade Gelato recipe in Blueberry Cheesecake, topped with Graham cracker.

You can’t have No-Machine Ice Cream without Gelato! One of my favorite No-Machine Gelato recipes has got to be my Blueberry Cheesecake Gelato recipe.

Similar to my Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream, you add crushed-up graham crackers and butter into my Crazy Homemade Ice Cream Base, but this time, you’ll stir in some lovely blueberries and lemon zest. It’s a visual delight with those blueberry cross-sections and is perfect for those of you who want to use your fresh blueberries before summer comes to an end.

Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Pie

What better way to elevate your ice cream game than to combine it with another popular dessert: Pie!

For double the refreshment, I’ve combined my Homemade Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream with a chocolate pie crust to create this very fresh Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Pie recipe. This recipe is made for the summer, as you don’t need to bake the crust in the oven, you get minty flavoring, and you can make it all in one bowl. Summer means lounging, so skip the elbow grease and try out this simply delicious dessert.

Ben & Jerry’s Chunky Monkey Ice Cream

Go bananas with my Banana Ice Cream! This recipe is my homemade take on Ben & Jerry’s delicious Chunky Monkey Ice Cream. Filled with creamy banana ice cream, Chocolate Fudge chunks, and walnuts, what’s not to love? The Banana Ice Cream and smooth Chocolate Fudge chunks are extremely rich in flavor and the walnuts add a great bit of crunch and bitterness to offset the sweetness. All in all, it’s a great recipe to try if you’re into crazy ice cream flavor combinations.

You can also make this recipe dairy-free with my Banana Dairy-Free Ice Cream recipe.

Ben & Jerry’s Cherry Garcia Ice Cream

I don’t know if there’s a more popular pairing than chocolate and cherries. We’ve seen them in Black Forest Gateau to chocolate-covered cherries, and now we see it in ice cream! In my version of Ben & Jerry’s Cherry Garcia Ice Cream, I’ve taken my Crazy Homemade Ice Cream Base and made it extra special by swirling in cherry puree and topping it off with my Homemade Chocolate Fudge flakes.

It’s tart yet sweet and makes the perfect frozen dessert for all of you chocolate and cherry fans.

Ben & Jerry’s Half Baked Ice Cream

If you love classic ice cream flavors like Vanilla and Chocolate, why not have both in one ice cream? That’s right, inspired by Ben & Jerry’s Half Baked Ice Cream, this No-Machine version is packed with those classic flavors on top of more homemade goodies.

When I say homemade, I really mean homemade. Every component in this ice cream from the Fudge Brownies to the gobs of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough can be made right in your kitchen and taste just as good or even better than the original.

Lemon Meringue Pie Ice Cream Sundae

Ending our Top 12 No-Machine Ice Cream List with a bang, we’ve got ourselves an outrageous Homemade Lemon Meringue Pie Ice Cream Sundae. A twist on classic ice cream sundaes, this recipe is all about extravagance in presentation and flavor explosions with multiple layers of ingredients. Another great thing about this recipe is that it combines two desserts in one: Lemon Meringue Pie and Vanilla Ice Cream! It’s an over-the-top, tasty dessert that can steal the show at any picnic or party. There’s a reason why I saved this recipe for last.

With the 12 Best Ice Cream Recipes (No-Churn, No-Machine), I wish you Bold Bakers happy baking!

I have been making your icecream for yrs with success but they stopped bringing the cream I used. I found a fresh cream that’s 33% fat but the ice cream turned out hard like frozen whipped cream, tasted nothing like ice cream what went wrong? Did I over whip? Should it be soft peaks? Is it the creams fault not mine? 😂
