Hi Bold Bakers!
Having the kids at home should make time spent together lovelier, and it does, but I know that it can also add a little stress when you mix in work, education, and just generally trying to keep them busy with or without screen time. As a new parent, I definitely want to create more kids-related content, and combining that with my years as a professional chef seems like a natural way to do just that.
Let’s relieve some of that stress with a fun way to get the whole family into the kitchen, learn some new skills, and make some delicious food through kids baking! It’s proven that baking with kids helps develop motor skills, math, science, as well as problem-solving, imagination, teamwork, and improvisation. A skill that is fun AND helps you learn? That’s a win-win for parents and kids.
I’ve come up with a worksheet of sorts — but it shouldn’t feel like work, so let’s call it a “bakesheet” — that has one simple recipe for each day of the week. I challenge you and your kids to complete as much of it as you can. I understand there may be ingredient constraints, but I tried to take that into consideration while choosing these recipes. There’s no better way to create food memories and POSITIVE feelings about this time at home than kids baking.
As you go, submit images of your final products on this page and let me know how you get on in the comments and on social media with the hashtag #BakeLifeBolder. I’ll make sure to highlight your hard work for all to see!

Sweet treats are nice, but frozen sweet treats can be better! Even if it’s cold where you are, make my Strawberry Banana Frozen Yogurt and treat yourself.

Get your week off on the right foot in the Best-Ever way possible with my Best-Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies! I promise you, there’s a magic reason why they’re the best, so you’ll want to make these for sure.
Tuesday
One of my most popular recipes is popular for a reason: it uses few ingredients, tastes great, and can easily be frozen to eat later! That’s right, if you’re looking for something to go with your meal, make my 3-Ingredient Flatbread and you won’t be disappointed.
Wednesday
This one is a bonafide hit on YouTube! In less than a week, more than 100,000 people watched my Best-Ever Mug Cake video — and the response has been amazing. It’s simple, yummy, and only uses a fraction of ingredients a full cake would use. Make my Best-Ever Mug Cake! The video is on the page if you want to check it out.
Thursday
If it’s starting to warm up where you are, you’ll love making my Frozen Yogurt Bark. Come to think of it, even if it’s still a little chilly, you can still make these as a sweet treat — nobody is gonna stop you!
Friday
One of our team members swears that family pizza night is Thursday night — but I think it should be Friday! Well, to be honest, I think any night should be pizza night. Make my Pizza Scones and enjoy!
Saturday
Have you ever had Fried Ice Cream? It’s amazing — so I wanted to figure out a way to recreate it without frying it. That process led me to my No Fry Fried Ice Cream, which you need to make to believe!
Sunday
You made it through the whole week! Great work, now it’s time to make my No-Yeast Cinnamon Rolls! Yes, yeast is still hard to come by, but no, you don’t need it to make delicious cinnamon rolls!

Wednesday
The microwave is my favorite kitchen tool, and I’m not too shy to admit that. You can pretty much make anything you want in it and fast. Make my Rocky Road Fudge right in your own microwave and see what I mean!

I love the idea, but would appreciate the ingredient list and the recipes attached. In this time I know I won’t have all the ingredients on-hand. One page with this would make this more doable.
I simply ADORE this idea. By the way, I’d be considered as a kid, as I’m still 12 years old. Time to bake! I finally have an activity to engulf in when I’m bored at home. Thank you! I’ve been enjoying your website and videos a lot as they help me make quick, fun, and easy recipes to make and neew ideas that spark my creativity (and math skills. I love math).
Lots of love,
Rin <3 <3 <3
